How many Salon visits does it take to go from Brunette to blonde (see details)?

I have long and very, very thick hair that is a darker color but the majority of it has been lowlighted to a medium carmel.How many Salon visits does it take to go from Brunette to blonde (see details)?
probably 2 visits. but be prepared to pay A LOT. the salon i work for will consider you a ';corrective color'; which charges $250 an hour. your first visit will probably take at least 2 hours. your hair de-colorizes in stages. from brown it will go almost orange, then a toner will be applied to drop it to a caramel blonde. a week or so after (you hair needs a break or it will break off) you would come back in for multishading highlights to bring up tones of ash blonde and cooler blonde notes. depending on where you are in the states, the whole process could cost between $300-$700.
