How do i get rid of split ends without going to the salon for a cut?

I have very bad split ends, almost every piece of hair i have has a split end, but I am trying to grow my hair out, and i dont want to get it cut at the salon, or pay the money when I just went a couple weeks ago.How do i get rid of split ends without going to the salon for a cut?

The only way to get rid of the split ends is to cut them off.
You can't get 'rid' of split ends unless you cut them off. You can make them look better w/ certain products, such as smoothing creme, but that's about it.

The best way to prevent and lose those split end is to trim off maybe a centimeters or two and then use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner.Dry hair is the reason you get split end:and that you need to trim off.Hydrating your hair can be useful.

to prevent them: avoid using heat on your hair, but if you have to, use ceramic tools, comb your hair with a wide tooth comb from bottom up after washing it, deep condition your ends

how about you try using a special shampoo cause i hjave split ends myself cause im trying not to cut my hair so it can grow out of this stiupid relaxer i have in my hair. i think pantene has i special treatment 4 dat but i use something else but i forgot the name of it.
your hair must be pretty unheaqlthy if you went a few weeks ago and you already have a ton of split ends! but just use good shampoo (i like Dove or Herbal Hessances) don't be cheap! good shampoo and conditioner works!!!
Get a friend to take a few strands at a time and cut the split off. Make really sure your friend can tell an inch from a 1/4 though.
Part your hair in sections and twist the section in a tight coil. Snip off the little pieces sticking out with a sharp pair of scissors. This should get rid of the split ends without going for a full haircut.

apply coconut oil.....stay for 2 to 3 hrs or over night....when ever u cut ur hair ,come home apply oil to ur hair and go for salon to style it up...good luck
