I live in Louisiana and want to perform airbrush tanning. I was wondering if you needed a license or if there were any training available in this area?Do you have to have a license to do airbrush tanning at a salon?

Not sure about your state but most require you to have at least a esthetics's license to apply anything to the skin. Call your local Health dept for further info.
no, but insurance is a good idea, as well as some informal training. its quick and easy to learn. it does take alot of practice on all types of bodies to become good at it. And it is not harmful, use a mask to filter the air in the room. It is very sticky and messy, so you want to have good ventilation, lighting and walls that can be washed. with at least 10 by 10 feet of space.
No u don't. but it is very unhealthy 4 ur skin. if u get skin cancer, don't come crying home!
