What heat resistant/damage reducing cream or spray can I use that I can find at retail stores instead of salon?

I won't be able to find time to get to a salon soon and I need to use anything that works well by Monday, when I have to find a spray to use when I curl my hair. Any suggestions? What heat resistant/damage reducing cream or spray can I use that I can find at retail stores instead of salon?
i live by tresemme.

i use the curl activator spray when using a curling iron (it protects against heat and holds the curl)

I use garnier frutis sleek and shine leave in conditioner. Put it in when your hair is wet or damp and then straighten/curl your hair. Less frizz and makes your hair smooth and shiny.
I use VO5
