Does a salon have to guarantee a job to a hairdressing apprentice at the end of their training?

My son is on an apprenticeship scheme with a salon where he works for them 4 days a week and goes to college on a day realease one day a week. His training is due to end next June. Will the salon have to guarantee him a placement in the salon at the end of his training?Does a salon have to guarantee a job to a hairdressing apprentice at the end of their training?
Not by any means I'm afraid.Does a salon have to guarantee a job to a hairdressing apprentice at the end of their training?
Unless they specifically said so, I don't think they guarantee it. It's training for his career, but that doesn't mean they'll need help at the end of his apprenticeship. If they like him, they might hire him, he should keep his options open though.
hiya, no they don't.my daughter had this argument with the person her son did a apprentice with.in the end they let him go,because they could not afford to take anymore staff on.he work hard for 2 yrs and finish up with nothing.he can't get a job anywhere, even tho he has his papers.
No, they don't have to.

Most people on apprenticeships do get asked to stay on if they have potential.
