Im a 13 year old transgendered girl. I was born male but now im living full time as Amanda. How can i ask my mom to allow me to go with her to the beauty salon so i can have my nails done like a girl?
Get a conversation with her. Be like ';Hey, mom! Getting your nails done sounds really fun! Could I try it sometime?';How can i ask my mom to allow me to go with her to the beauty salon so i can have my nails done like a girl?
hmmm. well im sure your mom knows you are transgender so just be like hey mom i want my nails done can i go with you.
You're mom loves you. Just ask and get it all out of te way. No harm can be done from asking. Tel her that this an be a thing that you do together as bonding time
My daughter just came to me and asked. I take her to get her nails done when I get mine done. It's a great bonding experience for the two of us.
Basically just go and ask her. You have nothing to lose.
Good luck.
';Hey mom, whenever you go get your nails done, can I please come too.'; She will deffinately let you come the next time.

How does the salon / stylist relationship work?
I know that stylists kick back some of what they make to the ';house';. Do they ';rent'; the chair? or is it a percentage?, and what is the benefit to the stylist in this arrangement? How does the salon / stylist relationship work?
It can be anything, depending on the salon's policies. Some salons rent stations to stylists. Others hire stylists for an hourly wage and pay them commissions on product sales. How does the salon / stylist relationship work?
Just like the pimp and the hooker.

What do you say when you walk into nail salon?
Well let's say you want a french, what do you say when you walk in?What do you say when you walk into nail salon?
I greet them to be polite and tell them I want a french manicure they should know what that is.What do you say when you walk into nail salon?
Tell them that you are here at the main desk then sit down and wait to be called. Once you are called over to a table tell the male/female that you wish for them to give you a french manicure. If you have a certain in color in mind then tell them what color you want and what (if you wish for) a certain design. Then they will most likely take you to a different table (or booth) where they will spray on the color you want for your french manicure. Unless they physically paint them on which I have never seen...
Hope that this helps.
i have the same problems sometimes; its like i forget how to be social.
but anyway when you walk into a nail salon you go to the person who is behind a desk or anyone closest to you when you walk in that works there and tell them ';i want a french design in on my natural nails'; or if you want tips '; i want the french tip';
Hi, do you guys have any time to give me a french manicure? If not, I would like to schedule an appointment.
If they say yes continue with:
Thanks so much!
If they say no:
Do you guys have anytime tomorrow (or pick a date good for you) and (insert time that you have time)?
';hey im here today for a french tip';
lol(:

How to hold a grand opening at a hair salon?
I'm holding my grand opeaning at my new hairsalon and I need some opeaning ideas, parafin dips, goodie bags, raffle tickets, and entertainment, I guess I need some ideas on selling the services once the client enters the salinHow to hold a grand opening at a hair salon?
Well the point of a grand opening is to make yourself known, so freebies, coupons and advertising are all very important. Since your just now opening, try advertising in your own windows with big posters (the professional kind, not just a white board with hand written grand opening) and make sure it states the date and time really large and advertises your discounts or goodies etc. As for goodie bags, maybe those one time use conditioning treatments? something cheap but useful, bobby pins, travel size brush etc. I'd have some sort of refreshment. Maybe pop, coffee, cheap stuff that you can get a lot of :) maybe get pizzas too? You sound like you need sales help :P well, the biggest thing is to get them INTO the salon, then once they're there, don't over bug them, print up some coupons and maybe something with specials and stuff on it, make it worth their while to come in and give it a try, be nice but try to be genuine, no one likes someone trying way too hard. it may be a good idea to have them have to ask you about prices for things, it engages in conversation and gives you time to show your know how. Also, make sure you have helpers with you, if it gets busy, you don't want a lot of people leaving because they didn't get answers or they had to wait forever. People hate waiting and you'll get stressed if you're rushing everywhere to help someone else out :) as for entertainment, i'm not sure how big your place is, music is always good, maybe do silly games, or have a contest where there are 5 people selected to do hair on 5 different manikin heads (it needs to be timed too!), who ever is voted the best gets something special like a first free cut by you or a free bottle of conditioner or something. People LOVE free stuff and discounts! use your opening to get people to go there so that once they find they like you they'll want to come back and pay more to see you. Hope that helps!! :)How to hold a grand opening at a hair salon?
Goodie bags- nail polish, a coupon for 10$ off haircut, and maybe a shampoo and conditioner sample.
ALL who come to grand opening will be entered into a contest where they can win: highlights, a massage, pedicure, etc. have maybe 3 winners.
Question and answer session: maybe have the stylists available to answer questions, give suggestions for new looks. It'd be an inspirational, educational, and motivational time.
Put ad in newspaper, see if you can set up a table at a college to advertise, have big colorful signs in windows saying the date and time and special offers. All those curious folks won't be able to resist coming to the big day!

How to REMOVE Fake nails without going to the salon?
I got them on professionally at a nail place. How to REMOVE Fake nails without going to the salon?
Get some water put it in a container (needs to be big enough to put your hands in). Heat up the water, not to much though. Place your hands in the warm water and let them rest in there for a couple of minutes. After you take them out your nails will loosen a bit and you can slowly pull/take them off. I always do this when I want to take off my professionally done fake nails. It doesn't hurt if you do it right, promise :)How to REMOVE Fake nails without going to the salon?
Well, you could always do what the nail salon does - heat up nail polish remover and soak it in there and file as well. Once it gets thinner you can do the card drip w/ it, but most of the time playing cards are to flimsy and thing nd will bend - try a thin metal file.
its going to sound weird but it works. take a card, like a playing card and stick it in between the fake nail and your real nail and slowly move in to the opposite side. moving the card around and working it in different angles. if you do it right, the fake nail will pop right off.
good luck
:]
at home us pure acetone!!!!!

Should I be worried about a bleeding cuticle from salon pedicure?
This was a first experience for me. I know they autoclave their instruments, and they applied some stuff that had a powerful sting to stop the bleeding. Not sure if this happens often or if I should be concerned.Should I be worried about a bleeding cuticle from salon pedicure?
You're fine.Should I be worried about a bleeding cuticle from salon pedicure?
no- its alcohol- to kill germs...this is why it stung!!! you'll be fine...just next time let them know no- cuticle cutting, or do this yourself before going in!!!
you'll be fine! :)
You shouldnt worry but try not to go back there. A place that is clean, sterile and professional will not give you bleeding anything!
